Rakkar Digital is a startup company backed by SCB10X focusing in digital asset and blockchain space. We provide digital asset custody and related services to our clients across ASEAN. We are on a mission to enable our clients to securely store and easily access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. We are looking for a Backend Developer with experiences in web and mobile application development. The successful candidate will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and work with Product Owners and Development squads from other countries to deliver mobile and web applications to our customers across the countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Role Purpose

  • Develop and maintain services to ensure the business requirements are worked properly and secure

  • Collaborate with team members (frontend - backend developers) to improve our product, architecture and engineering practices

  • Stay up-to-date on the practices, patterns, and trending technologies for creating best performance scalable services

• Key Relationships

  • Reports to Development Team Lead

  • Internal stakeholders include teams within the relevant departments in the company

  • External stakeholders include partners providing professional services

• What we are looking for

  • Solid understanding of NodeJS, TypeScript, and microservice development practices (design , development and deployment)

  • Understand and value the benefits of testing and code quality and the ability to write high-performance, reusable code, including appropriate testing

  • You have a love for product, web development and care about UI/UX + Quality at the same time

  • You have a love to build product not only completion but achievement

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or information technology

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience working in software development projects with experience in back-end development

• Solid understanding of NodeJS, TypeScript, and microservice development practices (design , development and deployment)

• Understand and value the benefits of testing and code quality and the ability to write high-performance, reusable code, including appropriate testing

• Understand the importance of testing and code quality and able to write high-performance, reusable code, and perform appropriate testing

• Passionate in product development and deliver quality product

• Understanding of digital assets industry, cryptocurrencies and web3 is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-culture environment

• Ability to work independently

• Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-energy, remote-first environment

• Experience working in Agile teams to support successful digital transformation projects, involved in the end to end planning to implementation

• Passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging / disruptive technologies

• Excited about trying new approaches to set new and higher standards
