Rakkar Digital is a startup company backed by SCB10X focusing in digital asset and blockchain space. We provide digital asset custody and related services to our clients across ASEAN. We are on a mission to enable our clients to securely store and easily access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. The team is growing fast. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in web and mobile application testing. The successful candidate will be based in Bangkok and work with Product Owners and Development squads from other countries to deliver mobile and web applications to our customers across the countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Role Purpose

  • Evaluate the functional and non-functional product requirement specifications and raise clarifications with the business team and developers

  • Develop, execute and maintain test cases/scripts for manual, automation and performance test

  • Communicate clearly with the teams to ensure a full understanding of tasks, requirements and defects. Ask questions where needed.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, standards and best practices for testing

• Key Relationships

  • Reports to QA Team Lead

  • Internal stakeholders include product and tech teams in the company

  • External stakeholders include partners providing professional services

• What we are looking for

  • Experience in software testing process in an agile environment

  • You embrace modern software testing principles e.g. Behavior Driven Development, 3 amigos collaboration, shift-left testing, automation testing, etc.

  • You have a strong quality mindset, love to break things and always find how to improve production quality

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or above in computer science, software engineering or information technology

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working on software development projects with experience in a software testing role

• Solid knowledge and experience in the fundamental of software testing, testing process, automation testing, performance testing, agile testing and test tools

• Experience in defining test cases from functional requirements and in cross browser / environment testing

• Experience using tools and processes used in web, mobile and backend testing

• Understanding of software development lifecycle, continuous integration/delivery/deployment (CI/CD), and release workflow

• Passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging / disruptive technologies

• Excited about trying new approaches to set new and higher standards

• Courageous and willing to challenge status quo to implement new solutions for improvement

• Believes in the non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency and trust across the team

• Experience in Blockchain technology is a plus

• English proficiency
