We provide digital asset custody and related services to our clients across ASEAN. We are on a mission to enable our clients to securely store and easily access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. We are looking for a Mobile Lead Software Engineer (iOS) with experiences in mobile application development. The successful candidate will be based in Bangkok and work with Product Owners and Development squads from other countries to deliver mobile and web applications to our customers across the countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Role Purpose

  • Design and develop applications for the iOS platform

  • Collaborate with other engineers (frontend - backend engineers) to improve Rakkar’s products, architecture and engineering practices

  • Keep up-to-date on current best practices, techniques, and upcoming technologies for developing/optimizing frontend components

• Key Relationships

  • Reports to Senior Technology Director

  • Direct reports include Mobile developers

  • Internal stakeholders include teams within the relevant departments in the company

  • External stakeholders include partners providing professional services

• Managing Projects

  • Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at high performance

  • Work with team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocks, conduct postmortem and rootcause analysis to help squads continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity

• Developing Talent

  • Attract, motivate and retain employees across all levels for a high performance culture

  • Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the tribe

• What we are looking for

  • Solid understanding of Swift and iOS development practices and process (design, development and deployment)

  • Experienced in one of Alamofire, SwifyJson, ObjectMapper, CryptoSwift, Grand Central Dispatch

  • Experienced in Reactive programming RxSwift, RxCocoa and Concurrency concept

  • Familiar with CI/CD process (CircleCI)

  • Understand and value the benefits of testing and code quality and the ability to write high-performance, reusable code, including appropriate testing

  • You have a love for product, web development and care about UI/UX + Quality at the same time

  • You have a love to build product not only completion but achievement

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

• 8+ years of relevant experience working in software development projects with extensive experience in a iOS mobile development

• Solid understanding of Swift and iOS development practices and process (design, development and deployment)

• Experienced in one of Alamofire, SwifyJson, ObjectMapper, CryptoSwift, Grand Central Dispatch

• Experienced in Reactive programming RxSwift, RxCocoa and Concurrency concept

• Familiar with CI/CD process (CircleCI)

• Understand and value the benefits of testing and code quality and the ability to write high-performance, reusable code, including appropriate testing

• Understanding of digital assets industry, cryptocurrencies and web3 are a plus

• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-culture environment

• Ability to work independently

• Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-energy, remote-first environment

• Experience working in Agile teams to support successful digital transformation projects, involved in the end to end planning to implementation
