We provide digital asset custody and related services to our clients across ASEAN. We are on a mission to enable our clients to securely store and easily access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. The team is growing fast. We are looking for strong talents to join us in multiple countries across the region. 

We are looking for a Test Lead with experiences in web and mobile application development. The successful candidate will be based in Bangkok and work with Product Owners and Development squads from other countries to deliver mobile and web applications to our customers across the countries.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Role Purpose

    • The job holder is responsible for leading the development and establishment of quality assurance standards for the company's software and applications

    • The job holder will be responsible for engaging stakeholders to ensure testing services cover all scenarios, requirements and expectations to drive the company's digital strategy and for coordinating with other teams to ensure work produced is high quality and free from bugs and glitches

  • Key Relationships

    • Reports to Head of Product

    • Direct reports include Testers, Test Engineers

    • Internal stakeholders include teams within the relevant departments in the company

    • External stakeholders include partners providing professional services

  • Testing

    • Lead a team of Test Engineers and Testers to deliver testing services to squads so that digital solutions are built to meet expectations and requirements

    • Establish and maintain testing principles, processes and procedures that will form the basis of test strategies, test approaches and test plans

    • Drive the preparation and execution of test cases, ensuring compliance and readiness to meet entry and exit quality gates

    • Manage the process of identifying, communicating, triaging, tracking and confirming resolution of defects identified during test cycles, and support the delivery teams during defect resolution

    • Lead the presentation of reports on progress of testing services for squad and tribe leads

  • Managing Projects

    • Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at high performance

    • Work with team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocks, conduct post mortem and root cause analysis to help squads continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity

  • Developing Talent

    • Attract, motivate and retain employees across all levels for a high performance culture

    • Develop and coach Testers into fully competent Test Engineers

    • Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the tribe

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or information technology

  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience working in software development projects with prior experience in a technical

  • leadership role

  • Qualified to ISEB / ISTQB Foundation level for Software testing

  • Experience in defining test cases from functional requirements and in cross browser / environment testing

  • Experience using tools and processes used in web software testing

  • Experience working on web standards and technologies including accessibility compliance

  • Deep experience in Agile Software Development and has mastery of Agile principles, practices and Scrum methodologies

  • Experience working in Agile teams to support successful digital transformation projects, involved in the end to end planning to implementation

  • Passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging / disruptive technologies

  • Excited about trying new approaches to set new and higher standards

  • Courageous and willing to challenge status quo to implement new solutions for improvement

  • Believes in the non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency and trust across the team

  • Experience in Blockchain technology is a plus

  • English proficiency

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills and work well with squad members and stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Eager to learn new things and attention to details

  • Self-motivation and positive attitude
