Business Development Manager

Rakkar Digital is a startup company backed by SCB 10X focusing in digital asset and blockchain space. We provide digital asset custody and related services to our clients across ASEAN. We are on a mission to enable our clients to securely store and easily access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. The team is growing fast. We are looking for strong talents to join us in multiple countries across the region.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to shape our business strategy and execution plan. Identify prospect in target markets as well as finding new business opportunities. This role will also involve in company’s marketing, branding and public relations.   

This role reports to Head of Business and sits in our Bangkok office.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer relationship management

  • Set goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth

  • Research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives

  • Research prospective accounts in target markets

  • Pursue leads and moving them through the sales cycle

  • Develop quotes and proposals for prospective clients

  • Develop strategy and positions of the business from both financial gain, marketing and customer satisfaction perspective

  • Promote the company’s products / services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives

  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations

  • Collaborate with other business units to find business / process improvement opportunities and put the improvement in place

  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the market to find new business opportunities or improvements

  • Lead activities related to corporation, license applications, certificate applications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or related fields

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or other relevant roles

  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy

  • Ability to manage complex projects / stakeholders and multi-tasks

  • Excellent in organizational skills

  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting

  • Excellent in written and verbal communication (Thai and English)

  • Excellent negotiation skill

  • Ability to self-motivate as well as work collaboratively as a team

  • Willing to go an extra mile attitude

  • Experience in Digital Assets – Cryptocurrencies, Web3 or NFT is a must
