Rakkar Digital is a startup company backed by SCB10X focusing in digital asset and blockchain space. We provide digital asset custody and related services to our clients across ASEAN. We are on a mission to enable our clients to securely store and easily access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. We are looking for a Frontend Developer with experiences in web application development. The successful candidate will be based in Bangkok and work with Product Owners and Development squads from other countries to deliver mobile and web applications to our customers across the countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Role Purpose

  • Develop and maintain UI components in React, Material UI and TypeScript for use across Rakkar’s platform

  • Collaborate with other engineers (frontend - backend engineers) to improve Rakkar’s products, architecture and engineering practices

  • Keep up-to-date on current best practices, techniques, and upcoming technologies for developing/optimizing frontend components

• Key Relationships

  • Reports to Development Team Lead

  • Internal stakeholders include teams within the relevant departments in the company

  • External stakeholders include partners providing professional services

  • Understand and value the benefits of testing and code quality and the ability to write high-performance, reusable code, including appropriate testing

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience working in software development projects with experience in front-end development

• Solid understanding of React, TypeScript, and web development best practices and processes (design, development and deployment)

• Understand the importance of testing and code quality and able to write high-performance, reusable code, and perform appropriate testing

• Passionate in product/web development and deliver quality product

• Ability to balance between functionality and UI/UX for features developed on the platform

• Understanding of digital assets industry, cryptocurrencies and web3 are a plus

• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-culture environment

• Ability to work independently

• Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-energy, remote-first environment

• Experience working in Agile teams to support successful digital transformation projects, involved in the end to end planning to implementation

• Passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging / disruptive technologies

• Excited about trying new approaches to set new and higher standards
